Here’s one for variety.

The clients had a very specific vision in mind with their conservatory, and what a privilege it was to help them realize it… But there were challenges.
Firstly, the mission here is to reduce the heat-gain, and stop all UV fading their lovely furnishings. Until now, the clients had resorted to covering their sofa’s with a blanket 24/7.
Secondly, the clients strongly desired their conservatory windows to remain as neutral as possible, but still block the sun’s heat.

The first task proved challenging as the roof glass had already been treated from the factory with very sub-par performance materials. Sadly this treatment would interfere with our solar reflective films and potentially exceed the roof glass’ heat stress threshold, therefore we couldn’t use that range of films. (As a side point, we want to encourage you to reach out regardless of prior treatments as each case is different and we can still provide an assessment)
What we could help the clients with was the UV. We installed ‘Clear UV Control’ film that blocks 99.5% of UV rays, preventing furnishings from fading.

To help with the heat-gain, we installed ‘Reflective Silver 35’ on the windows. This remarkable film rejects up to 70% of the sun’s energy but still manages to remain very neutral in appearance externally. Not to mention, as with all the films we install, ‘R/S 35’ also blocks 99% of UV rays.

Despite the setback of the roof glass, the clients are very happy with the end result. They can now use their conservatory all summer long, and now the burden of fading furnishings have been lifted. They even got us to do the front door to their house to protect their new carpets.

We wish them well with their upgraded connie’ and we invite you to reach out to us for your free quote.
